Joining
Sangilak is a pack built upon the values of strength, skill, honor and a willingness to improve one’s home. Joining these ranks is an opportunity to show what can be offered by the individual for the pack and a commitment to learn its ways. Because of the expectations put on every member, the selection process is often strict and leaves no room for ill-mannered canines or improper etiquette.
Behavior
Only those who can show proper respect may earn the right to join Sangilak. Both leadership and lower ranking wolves all garner much more respect than any common loner and should be treated as such. Failing to meet these expectations will not only guarantee no chance of joining but could be taken as extremely offensive.
Trespassing
This is something that is never tolerated. With clearly marked boarders, wandering accidentally onto Nomad land will be met with aggressive retaliation. Willing to joining, innocent or not, offenders will be forcefully chased off of the territory.
Species Restrictions*
Sangilak looks for strength in its prospective members. It is a common belief that wolves are the strongest of all canine breeds and therefore will be all that the pack permits. Canines must be 50% wolf or more with dominant wolf features to join.
- *Rare Conditions: While wolf-dominant species are the preferred inhabitants of Sangi'lak, all walks and forms of life are 'tolerated' to an extent. Either for plot or character development purposes other canine species are eligible to apply for joining, however strong conditions will be laid out until the character proves their worth to the family. Even in following these conditions, acceptance is NOT guaranteed. These special circumstances are NOT applicable for full blooded dogs or coyotes.
Out of Character Joining
Out of Character (OOC) joining is discouraged and only accepted in special circumstances. In character joining threads should be attempted but if a player finds themselves in a special circumstance, they may PM one of the leaders to discuss their desired form of pack admission.
